Kate Hudson has been making the publicity rounds for Song Sung Blue and her style has been all over the place. That’s nothing new for her, though.

We sure are hoping that’s faux, but it’s not looking good — and we mean that literally. While we can sort of understand the limited appeal of fur or its faux version in fashion, these full length coats just make you look like a beaver trapper or some other sort of frontiersman. The boots are gorgeous and the skirt looks nice from what we can see, but that gigantic bear hide just isn’t fabulous, faux or not.

This is really cute. We like the shoulderpad action, which gives it shape and prevents it from looking too much like loungewear. We’d have recommended a statement piece of jewelry to dress it up more. The pants look kind of flimsy.
