Style File: Ashley Park Promotes EMILY IN PARIS on GOOD MORNING AMERICA

Lorenzo was watching screeners for the upcoming fifth season of Emily in Paris when Tom (who doesn’t watch the show) wandered in and said “Why does everyone on this show walk so funny?” After a few minutes, we decided it’s because they’re pretending to be wearing heels when shot from the waist up. Once you see it – the mincing, sort of prancing way they all walk when you can’t see their feet – you can’t unsee it. Say what you will about those Sex and the City gals, but they knew how to hit the pavement in heels — or at least convincingly fake it. Anyway, here’s Ashley Park, not faking it and looking pretty fabulous as she makes the promo rounds in New York.

Everything here looks randomly chosen and we’re not convince it all works together and yet she looks very cute in it. Such is the power of an absolutely killer pair of boots. Had she finished off this look with any other form of footwear, we doubt it would have come together. The jacket looks very cozy, not to mention photogenic. She should’ve worn tights with it.

Again, we’re not entirely convinced all of these pieces look right together (the dress really doesn’t feel like it has anything to do with the other pieces), but a stunning pair of boots will do a lot. Love the jacket, love the bag.
