Jennifer Lopez continues what is sure to be an exhausting promotional campaign for Kiss of the Spider Woman and it’s become obvious already that she won’t be sticking to a single style or aesthetic for the duration. We consider that good news, because we’re not sure we would have handled months of spider-themed costumes all that well.

This is all way too much. Way too much for The View, way too much for daytime, way too much, period. The skirt is gorgeous and we even think that corset/cummerbund could work, but that jacket is horrible and she’s all but busting out of the shirt. While we’re happy that the pin straight center part has finally gone away, we’re not loving the new “ten pounds of hair” trend.

Again, we’re in “way too much” mode, which is, to be fair, her standard mode. Lots of stars have been dressing formally for their talk show appearances in the last year or so, but this may be one of the more over-the-top attempts. It’s a lovely gown, but it’s giving her Barbie crotch, which is a little distracting in a TV talk show setting.
