BET Awards 2025: Doechii in Miu Miu: IN or OUT?

Kittens, we’ve critiqued a ton of outfits in the last couple of days, so we’re going to take a moment to recharge our bitch batteries and let you step into the role of judgmental bitch this time. Doechii has always had a highly quirky style where you never know what she’s going to wear or do next. This is a good thing, as far as we’re concerned. If she were an actress, we might advise a little more consistency, but any pop music star should shake their look up as much as possible. She came to the BET Awards in an ensemble that some of you are going to find challenging, we’re afraid.

Yes, the aughts really are back. Get your handkerchief tops out of storage, girls. We don’t know what it is about this look, but it’s full of a bunch of elements we know we don’t like, but the overall effect seems to really work for her. Something about all of that aggressive styling somehow makes the unlikely combination of pleated skirt and handkerchief top seem completely reasonable. Love the bangles, love the hair, love the shades. HATE the shoes. You make the final call:
