We love Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan’s preference for high romantic drag – and by that we mean she loves romantic styles but she also loves ostentation and theatricality. One thing we do not love, however, is big, craftsy fabric flowers, which is why we’re turning the opinionating on her BAFTA TV Awards dress up to you.
One the one hand, it’s pretty! It’s got that romantic glam vibe that she works so well! On the other hand, that’s more black lace than we tend to like seeing on a red carpet and those flowers look like crushed tissue paper. If we’re being perfectly honest, we think she looks gorgeous (it helps that the lace is subtle), but we figured we’d let you have the final call on this one. Let’s hear it.
