Cannes Film Festival jury members Halle Berry, Jeremy Strong, Juliette Binoche and Alba Rohrwacher served looks at the opening ceremony and if you’d asked us ahead of time which of this quartet would have been most likely to show up in pink, we’d have correctly predicted it.
We’d like to think the ladies were all “We’ll just let Jeremy have this moment.”
This is a really great look for her; sharp and bold, totally focus-pulling and photogenic. She said she had to make some changes to her planned wardrobe because of the new dress code restrictions, so if this is a last-minute choice, it’s a really good one.
While we tend to think the trend for pink tuxes has passed, we don’t mind seeing it here at all. He’s got a delightful style sense that belies his own semi-serious public persona and we love that he indulges it so well. Juliette is giving Leia from the waist up and it suits her really well, but those pants look silly with that dramatic top. Alba’s keeping things simple and unfussy, but chic. Could’ve done without the waist bow but we like the unusual neckline.
