Well, she did it again – and by that we mean “Anya Taylor-Joy stepped out in another dramatic design that doesn’t quite suit her.” The star of The Gorge brought her particular brand of drama to the Los Angeles premiere.
First, call us judgmental bitches if you must, but it never looks good when a star is trying too hard to work their look. Capes don’t need to be fanned out. Skirts can swirl, but only a little. The thing is, most celebrities are performers of some sort and if they don’t quite know what to do with themselves in a situation, they’ll start performing. We can guarantee that whoever designed that frock at the House of Dior didn’t expect its wearer to walk around holding it out like Dracula or Batman. Putting aside all that, it’s a pretty sharp little dress. For her, it needs to be in black. And we’d have rec’d a more substantial necklace than that; possibly a pendant.

Two highly-trained operatives (Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy) are appointed to posts in guard towers on opposite sides of a vast and highly classified gorge, protecting the world from an undisclosed, mysterious evil that lurks within. They bond from a distance while trying to stay vigilant in defending against an unseen enemy.
