We are currently in the midst of podcast production and since this is the final single-look post of the day, we’re going to make all y’all weigh in on it. Wicked star Michelle Yeoh brought her particular brand of style drama to the Red Sea Film Festival.
The gown is sharply dramatic in a vaguely witchy way that doesn’t smack of cosplay. Personally, we think it would be more dramatic in a bold color, because black is so overdone on red carpets at the moment – and also because she looks great in bold colors. The earrings are both stunning and a little weird. We think we love them, but we also think a little more sparkle or color in the accessorizing would have helped. The watch is kind of ugly, if we’re being honest. The black pumps are a dull choice. There. Fully assessed. But still, as nitpicky as we can get, we know she still looks fantastic. So let’s hear it:
