We’ve never seen the stage musical. but we’re starting to think that casting Jeff Goldblum as the wizard in Wicked is a genius move, if for no other reason than the man absolutely acing the theme-dressing for the promo work. After all, he pretty much dresses like the Wizard of Oz on a regular basis.
Like, he could wear this on literally any red carpet and no one would bat an eye because it just looks his usual dandified style. Yes, it’s clearly a nod to the film’s aesthetic if not his own character, but this is just a slightly toned-down Goldblum. Which means he looks fantastic, of course.
