We love a lady who knows when to go for her coin. The Last Showgirl star Pamela Anderson stopped by the Colbert show, not just to talk about her career-rejuvenating role, but to hype her new cook book I Love You: Recipes from the Heart. Attagirl. Also worth celebrating: getting the look exactly right for her fresh-faced life.
Her insistence on sporting a relatively clean face in her public life came with a few stumbles on the fashion side of things. It seems to us that she made the classic mistake of confusing modesty with dowdiness. This sort of breezily neutral minimalist style is exactly the kind of look we’ve been hoping to see from her. The vest is a little too bulky around the shoulders, but the style looks great on her and she looks comfortable and confident in it. This is the way to do chic without a heavy beat.
