Good Lady Cate attended the New York Film Festival premiere of her film Rumours and took Barbiecore to its inevitable bloody conclusion: by skinning and wearing Barbie’s scalp.

“I’m afraid I can’t come out tonight as my blouse has flyaways and is in desperate need of a trim and a hot oil treatment.” Can you imagine? Good Lady Cate, not even you can make this look appealing to our eyes. We keep trying to offer some form of critique – as if some sort of styling choice would make this look like something other than a shirt made out of her own hair – but none are coming to mind. We know she’s big on recycling her fashion pieces, so maybe next time, she could crimp it or give it a perm, just to shake things up.
