The cast of Disclaimer wore super-serious, prestige drama looks for the Venice Film Festival premiere, but they also managed to slip in a few moments of glamour and style. Let’s peer awkwardly at them for way too long.
Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé
Good Lady Cate is really going through a “I reject your bourgeois notions of how to wear a string of pearls” phase in her style evolution, it would seem. This is a gorgeous look and you can tell she’s feeling every bit of it. That ear clip might be a bit much, though.
Sacha Baron Cohen
Going for that prestige actor look. He looks good.
Kevin Kline
Bare minimum effort, but he’s fine.
Kodi Smit-McPhee in Versace
We’re so glad he’s got a new prestige film opening because we’ve missed seeing this guy on the red carpet. He’s never boring, never expected, always impeccable. And his stylist seems to have a very good understanding of what works for him. On a different wearer, paired with different pieces, that’s a total Nana sweater, but on him it looks cool.
