Your once and future Kamala came to The Tonight Show to kiki with RuPaul. While Loot star Maya Rudolph played coy regarding her much-requested return to Saturday Night Live to resurrect her Kamala Harris impersonation (for which she’s already won an Emmy), we figure she’d be a lot more clear about it if she weren’t planning on a return. After all, there’s no reason to play coy about something you’re not doing, right? As to matters of style, she stuck to her preferences, goofy as they may be:
She likes her fashion big and space-taking and roomy, but to us, that just says “caftan.” To be fair, she wears them a lot (and looks great in them), but she also has a preference for big ol’ frocks like this one. We do not share her love in this instance. This is a dress for standing and posing, because it instantly goes “laundry pile” when she sits down. We might like this in a witchy black, but the pale pink doesn’t do much for her. Those sandals are a lot of fun, but they’d work better with an outfit that didn’t fight them so much for attention.
