Cannes Film Festival 2024: Kelly Rowland in Anamika Khanna and Jean-Louis Sabaji

Kelly Rowland served up pure classic eleganza in the old school manner at the Cannes Film Festival this week. Unfortunately, she also ran afoul of some aggressively nasty security personnel in front of international cameras, which is a shame for a whole bunch of reasons, not least of which is the appearance of racial bias on the part of the staff, but also because it overshadowed how great she looked.

It’s a gorgeous gown and that necklace is a stunner. It’s weird how each of them seem to sit on her a little awkwardly, though; the gown sits too low and the necklace doesn’t look like it fits her neck/shoulder area correctly. Nitpicky bitches are we! We tend to think this would look better with sandals, but we don’t want to overstate our case because we’re starting to like the return to conventional pumps with gowns.

This is gorgeous. Again, we’re not sure if that necklace coordinates well with that shoulder puff, but it’s a stunning piece.
