Darlings, Veuve Clicquot had a thing and a bunch of people showed up to pose for it. We realized that’s a little light on the details, but that’s why it says “Fabulous & Opinionated” up top and not “Hard-Hitting Journalism.” Anyway, the thing was just some branding event about which we need not concern ourselves. As we said, a bunch of people showed up, but the only one worth our time and yours is one Miss Jodie Turner-Smith. Because let’s face it:
She always makes sure she’s worth your time. Do we love all of this? Is it chic? No and no. But it’s a party for a bottle, so we can’t get upset at someone for showing up looking to party and get some attention out of it. The jacket is gorgeous. We could get behind the hi-lo styling of pairing that baby tank with it and some obnoxious jewelry, but those office manager pants do absolutely nothing for the party girl top half of the look. We love that she loves theatrical, draggy makeup styles, but this face is looking a little Halloweeny to us.
