It was a major black tie affair at the Cannes premiere of Killers of the Flower Moon. If you’re looking for the film’s star Lily Gladstone, we were so impressed by her style we had to give her her own post.
Leonardo DiCaprio (in Alexander McQueen), Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro
They’ve got a whole “Father, Son and Holy Ghost” thing going on here, don’t they? Anyway, this trinity of cinema all look perfectly, appropriately elegant.
Isabelle Huppert in Balenciaga
The dress is gorgeous, even if the lining gives her a Barbie body. Speaking of which, check out those odd foot-shaped, skin-colored heels. The fashion press tried to pass this off as some sort of statement about the old heel-requirement rules, but that doesn’t make much sense, given that she seems to be sporting a healthy stiletto. We guess they’re mean to elongate the leg or something, but the effect is odd.
Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst (in Vintage Chanel)
Low-key, profesh, and still somehow adorable together.
Naomi Campbell in Valentino Couture
Slaying as easily as she breathes.
Paul Dano in Dolce & Gabbana
The texture of the jacket textile is almost impossible to see under the glare, but there’s enough of it registering for us to appreciate once again the fun and interesting ways he takes little risks. He looks great.
Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen
That massive mermaid ruffly is kind of awful, but it’s hard to deny the lady is killing it here. The color looks great. The necklace is a stunner. The ladies are framed and fitted. She’s serving Star.
