The stars of The Citadel sucked in their cheeks and put on their best attention-seeking fashion for the Rome premiere.
Stanley Tucci
It’s just okay. We rarely love gray suits on the red carpet, especially if you’re going to pair it with a black tie and white dress shirt. It looks so dully corporate.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas (in Valentino) and Nick Jonas (in Fendi)
The feathers, in combination with the color, are giving the whole look a “drag version of Oscar the Grouch” sort of feel to it. Personally, we don’t think that green is the best choice in the world because the chances of it photographing weird are pretty high. We love the drama of it – it’s giving ’70s Elizabeth Taylor – but we think we’d like it more in a less dicey color. It’s nice of him to dial it back a little so she can shine, but he’s crossed over to look underdressed next to her.
Richard Madden in Giorgio Armani
The chest hair and jawline will be forever on point and in style, but not even he can make those high-waisted pants work. The jacket is gorgeous.
Lesley Manville
This is the second floor-length coat on a red carpet we’ve featured today. Is it a trend? Stay tuned! If it is, we can admit upfront that we’ll probably get tired of it quickly (we foresee a lot of half-assed bathrobey attempts), but for now, we’re loving the drama of it.
