Mafia Mamma stars Monica Bellucci and Toni Collette stepped out for the New York premiere and also possibly to get married. Either way, congratulations to the happy couple.
We wonder which one of them said to the other one “Hey, you know what? Let’s dress up like we’re getting married for the premiere! Won’t that be a hoot?” Our money’s on Toni.
Can’t argue with a bit of this. It’s not new or fresh, but if the men can default to this look for the red carpet and be called stylish for it, we can’t see any reason why she shouldn’t be allowed to. The cut of the skirt is admirably great because it mimics a flared pair of pants pretty effectively. We have to concede that the askew tie and too-long cuffs are deliberate aspects of the look, but we still wish she’d buttoned the jacket.
It’s very bridal. We don’t have much else to say about it. She doesn’t look bad, but it doesn’t look stylish or sharp either. Her red carpet style seems to skew toward the precious and we don’t think it suits her at all.
