The Audreybot takes a sudden turn away from the Audreyness! We realize that sentence will only make sense to the most devoted of Bitter Kittens and if you understood it immediately, we thank you for all of your support over the years. If you have no idea what the hell these two queens are going on about, please feel free to scroll down for an explanation.
We dubbed her the Audreybot about a decade ago, because he had a tendency to wear these very stark styles that evoked her resemblance to Audrey Hepburn, but paired them with minimal makeup and a totally android affect. Hence: Audreybot. Ironically, now that she’s been cast to play the real Audrey in a biopic, she’s ditched the Audrey suits and she’s stepping out in something a bit far from her usual comfort zone. We’re of several minds about this. First, we like to see her switch things up a bit. Maybe at some point, she’ll learn that color isn’t something to be afraid of. Second, we’re not big lace fans. Call us lacists if you must, but it’s never been our favorite textile. Third, we think we kind of love this despite that? Fourth: we tend to think a gown like this calls for a bit more in the way of makeup and jewelry, but we’re willing to be convinced that her minimalist preferences work with the design. There the are. All the discussion points we could think of. Bat them around and tell us what you come up with.
