Nope star Keke Palmer shook off her film’s total shutout from the Oscar nominations, put on a killer red dress, and dazzled Jimmy Fallon (which is admittedly not all that hard to do).

She should be commended for getting out of the house at all, let alone putting on a tight dress and a pair of ankle-strap stilettos. The dress is really cute and the color looks fantastic on her. The neckline is perfect for TV because it does a nice job of keeping your eyes on her face. We don’t think the sheer black tights were the way to go here, but the current trend holds that they go with everything. They do not, but that’s fine. We’ll wait for this trend to die out a little. The shoes are gorgeous, but all we can think when we look at them is “Honey, you really didn’t have to go to the trouble.” By the way, we will have PUH-LENTY to say about Nope’s shutout as well as all of the other little Oscar nomination scandals and upsets in tomorrow’s podcast.
