Let’s have one final Critics Choice Awards “IN or OUT” post before we wrap up this year’s coverage. Especially since we feel a little strangely ambivalent about this one, which is not how we usually feel about Michelle Yeoh’s red carpet style. Also, because we need a short break (nap) and snack (sandwich).
It’s okay. It has a classic, stately feel to it, which is pretty close to her style sweet spot, although we tend to think she’s better working more current styles. There’s nothing particularly objectionable about it except that it’s very low-key compared to a lot of her recent red carpetry. She loves herself some eye-popping jewelry, which is why we’re a little surprised she didn’t zhuzh this look up a little more. A necklace would have been perfect here. Anyway, that’s us, not having any opinions. Time for you to fill the void our lack of opinions have created.
