We’ve been sitting on these shots since last week, when Emily in Paris star Lily Collins stopped by to chat about the show’s upcoming 3rd season. We could’ve just forgotten about them, but this is like the international week of clearing out your work folders and also, it’s just a really cute little outfit, so we’re giving it a late spotlight.

This was the year when Princess Diana collars became all the rage again, a style development we predicted would never happen. While this isn’t quite so Diana-literal as Margot Robbie’s semi-recent Allesandra Rich dress, nor is it as fussy as Lizzy Caplan’s piecrust collar revival, it definitely plays on some particularly princessy and FLOTUSy tropes while putting a more youthful and sexy spin on things. It’s Chanel crossed with Sloane Ranger, in other words. It’s SUPER twee, but she was built for such things. We guess we have to accept that black sheer stocking are now considered a neutral item that goes with everything. The shoes are gorgeous.
