To return to a point about celebrity style blogging we’ve made many a time before, sometimes you’ve just gotta give someone the spotlight not because they’re working the latest trends or pushing the envelope in head-turning fashion, but because you just want to stop and say “Doesn’t she look really pretty here?” Issa Rae, that’s your cue.
Our first impulse is to suggest a necklace because the neckline and style of the dress really call for it, but her hair and makeup are so gorgeous that the sort of bare simplicity of the look serves to keep all your attention on her face. It’s a nicely balanced look, with a killer face and killer sandals separated by a fairly basic dress.
