Cate Blanchett did not hit the Venice Film Festival red carpet premiere for her buzzy new film Tár to collect her flowers. Good Lady Cate said she would bring the flowers herself.

If you’re going to wear an all-velvet outfit at this time of year, then this would be the way to go, we think. The silhouette looks fantastic and the back view is hot. If we’re being honest, we think the flowerbed bust is a little on the gimmicky side, but she’s clearly got the poise and the presence to not only handle it, but make it sing in a way few wearers could.
