A lot of people were pretty upset when Jimmy Kimmel pulled focus from Quinta Brunson’s Emmy win by committing a little too much to a bit that simply wasn’t funny enough for that kind of disruption. But the Abbott Elementary star and creator got her moment back by showing up at Jimmy’s place looking like a million and one bucks on heels.
This is giving “Aretha on the Ed Sullivan show circa 1968” and we cannot see any problem with that. It’s fun and bold and looks like a party in dress form. She looks absolutely spectacular.
That was a decent apology and a gracious response on her part.
