Where the Crawdads Sing star Daisy Edgar-Jones has been serving her brand of quirky fashion at the Locarno Film Festival and we thank her for these efforts at a time when so many stars are shamelessly shirking their red carpet duties and not providing us with a steady stream of content.
IN MIU MIU
We can handle a certain level of preciousness and twee in red carpet fashion, but only if there’s some sort of payoff in the sense, you know, looking cute and all. If it just winds up looking dowdy and awkward, then what’s the point? That waistline situation is terrible. Any time a star stands on a red carpet with their arms crossed, you know they hate what they’re wearing.
IN CONNER IVES
This belongs on a piano. That fringe is making our eyelids twitch We know we should hate this, because we really do loath fringe, but it’s better suited to her and way more fun than that prim little pilgrim schoolgirl thing she’s wearing above.
