Since we neither love nor hate this gown. It’s possible we’re just reacting to a glut of gownery round these parts of late, what with the Met Gala and Cannes coming just as we recovered from the Oscars. Perhaps this is gorgeous and stunning and we’ve just become cynical and jaded. You’re probably no less cynical and jaded than we are, but we’re still turning this one over to y’all for the final call because we don’t trust ourselves to make it.
We sort of like the beaded sheer parts, but we can’t escape the distinct impression that she’s wrapped in electrical tape. Are we being harsh? Are we just not getting it? Is this actually stunning? Or does she have an innate ability to make even ugly frocks look chic? You tell us:
