Fine. We give up. These two bitches can admit when they’re beaten. We bitched and moaned when Zendaya kicked off the red carpet cosplay trend by wearing spider-themed outfits to promote Spider-Man: No Way Home and we kicked dirt and pouted when Zoe Kravitz appeared to be taking up the mantle to promote The Batman by dressing in Catwoman-adjacent looks. We also whined when it became apparent that Robert Pattinson was going to spend the same promo tour dressed in Batman Couture, i.e., all-black outfits. We tend to get huffy about this sort of thing but at some point, a couple of bloggers need to just shut up and let a dumb trend play out.
Especially since – dammit – they both look stunning.

The pants should be hemmed better, but everything else here is flawless, including the grooming. We are absolutely drooling over that coat. We tend to think black shirts with black ties make the wearer look mobbed up, but when everything is this finely rendered, we feel like we’d look stupid complaining about it. The subtle sheen and pattern in the tie is doing a lot here. Love the ring.
Look, we pride ourselves on having evolved as bloggers and having learned to temper our language so as not to fall into the trap so many men who write about female celebrities and fashion do, but you’re just going to have to let us get the following out of our systems and hopefully forgive us.

WHAT? LIKE YOU WEREN’T THINKING IT?
Anyway, this dress is insanely gimmicky and we don’t think we’d ever sign off on it for any occasion other than a Catwoman actress promoting her movie. Yes, it’s cosplay, but it’s really good, kinda chic cosplay.
They are literally serving “Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle at a gala” realness. We love her hair.
