Michael Kors knows what kind of dress a dancer needs if she’s going to sit in his front row. Ariana DeBose, the Oscar-nominated star of West Side Story, snagged a very Anita-shaped dress in a very New York Fashion Week color for the designer’s Spring 2022 show.
Her SPECTACULAR hair, her personality, and her exuberance are doing all the work here. The dress is a classic, but we wish it fit her just a bit better and we think she’d have benefitted (like most dancers) from a higher hem.
