“Yellowjackets” Star Christina Ricci Visits “The Late Late Show” in Dolce & Gabbana

We thought Christina Ricci was doing a vaguely more grown up take on her classic Wednesday Addams look when she visited Ellen a couple of weeks back, but now we just think she’s just in a more grown up phase of her public style. Not that she’s been dressing childishly or anything like that; just that this look is fairly simple and classic, which means it could work for anyone from about 20 to 70 years of age.

That’s not a criticism or complaint. We think she might be particularly well suited to classic looks like these, if only because her own looks tend to render anything she wears a little more interesting. The fit is great (downgraded from “spectacular” because it’s a little snug in the bust) and her hair and makeup are gorgeous. Just a really well executed look all around. And not for nothing, but it’s the kind of dress only a vet with three decades of talk show appearances would know to pick.
