Halsey made such an egregious fashion statement last week (establishing a potential late-stage entry onto the worst of the year list), that we felt they should have the opportunity to change the conversation, so to speak. We’re not entirely convinced that is quite the course-correction we’d hoped for, but…

IN or OUT?
We won’t claim it’s gloriously chic or anything, but it’s exactly right for a pop star, trading on a sort of high (but not too high) fashion take on a punk lite look. Hot Topic for Prom, in other words. We tend to think it works and that the boots and hair really make it.
