Okay, so we’re going to say something perhaps a little blasphemous here. We’ve long praised the collaboration between Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach as one of the very best in the celebrity style game. It’s the whole reason why she was at the CFDAs to pick up an award in the first place. As with Anya Taylor-Joy, we think this sort of eye-popping and showy look is exactly what the CFDAs red carpet calls for.

But we have to admit, we’re a little disappointed. We don’t hate it, but we don’t love it either. We had high expectations for her at this event and another belly-baring ensemble just feels a bit seen-it by now. It’s impossible for her to look bad and we might even have found this interesting on another wearer, but for her, it almost feels like a re-wear.
