Surprise! That is an absolute party of a hem. We can practically hear horns and noisemakers looking at it. We go back and forth on whether she should have saved this one for a photo call or red carpet. If we haven’t been clear, we really love this, largely because it brings a smile but also because the design is savvy about not overdoing its one exuberant element and keeping everything else as minimalist as possible. It’s really well balanced, which is why we kinda think it’s more of a standing dress. Not that it looks bad here. We tend to think you should keep the interest up near your face for TV, but it’s the kind of dress that keeps all eyes on her and that’s the whole point of being there in the first place.
