The cast of Kenneth Branagh’s semi-autobiographical film Belfast hit the red carpet in high (and in one case, not so high) style for the film’s premiere at the BFI London Film Festival.

It appears she wanted to hug her co-star way more than she wanted to model the dress, but even so, it’s a stunner of a gown. It’s got all the glamour and drama you’d want for a big, prestigey premiere, but the shapes are unexpected and it becomes more and more interesting the longer you take it in; like some sort of fabulous vestments. We feel like there should be more an earring situation, though.

We love that he really went for it. Those are the best “men’s” shoes we’ve seen all month, not counting Daniel Craig.

We’re so impressed she’s in heels we have nothing further to say. How could we? She’s a dame and a legend and all of this is just fine and totally in line with how she’s dressed for the last 30 years. The necklaces are lovely.

As per the usual with him, he hides the hot. He can’t ever get rid of it completely, but he’s determined to dress it up in boring clothes. He looks fine, though. Love her skirt, but we think she needs a belt or something.

We honestly can’t decide if it’s charming or slightly obnoxious that Kenneth Branagh chose two INSANELY good-looking people to play his parents, but this honestly looks amazing.
