We think Amanda Seyfried really stepped up her fashion game (with not inconsiderable help of her stylist Elizabeth Stewart) during last year’s awards campaigning for her role as Marion Davies in Mank. Nothing like a little bit of prestige attention to juice up an actor’s style efforts. We’re happy to see she’s still serving up some pretty notably chic looks and we’re even happier to see her out in the so-called real world doing it, since most of her Mank stuff was virtual. In fact, the first thing out of her mouth in the interview was how much she missed doing all of this via Zoom. Girl, we get it, but we want to see your skirt.
It’s a really cute skirt, in fact. It pretty much makes the whole look since the rest of it is fairly generic. It’s probably a bit better for standing than for sitting, although she looks comfortable enough in it. The high waist hits a little awkwardly when she’s seated, but that’s a minor complaint. Just a cute look that gives her everything she needs and like the one we featured yesterday, has a sort of restrained professionalism to it while still being stylishly telegenic.
