First, it should be noted that Jessica Chastain is coming out of film festival season riding some hot awards buzz for her work in The Eyes of Tammy Faye playing the titular role. That means everything she wears at a promotional appearance from now until nominations start getting announced will have more meaning attached to it and more attention paid to it.

Second, we’re ashamed to admit that we never saw this style turn coming and we really should have.

If you’re partying with drag queens for a Tammy Faye biopic premiere, this is how you dress.
