She may yet get to have a big, splashy red carpet for her debut in a big, splashy musical, but until that day comes, Leslie Grace is clearly not going to slack off on the celebrity promo style. She’s serving up the kind of killer looks at home that would get all kinds of crazy press in a normal world, so let’s give the gal the spotlight she deserves.

Love every bit of this, from the fabulous hair to the rich color (which looks amazing on her), right on down to the slightly goofy-looking shoes (which nonetheless go well with the dress). If we have one quibble it’s the unnecessary braided cord sash paired with a chain belt. Makes it feel like there’s just too much going on around the waist. Still, it’s a fantastic look and she comes off like a movie star wearing it.

We think she must be the kind of gal who likes slightly counterintuitive shoe choices because those sandals really don’t go. Yellow and brown is a really tough color combo to pull off, but for the most part, we think she’s making it work. We like the top, but runway styling aside, we don’t think it pairs well with the suit. We also think the skirt design comes off a little flimsy and unresolved. It’s an interesting look; perfect for picture-taking, but she’d probably have a hard time with it in, say a TV talk show setting or even trying to get out of a limo in front of cameras.

This is just pure fun; a party in clothing form. That off-the-shoulder effect seems a little tough to make work. LOVE the shoes, though.
