Just look at all the stars who served looks this week! All of these unjudged efforts to get to! Why, we spent the better part of a year without any Friday Leftovers at all. We even wondered briefly if we’d ever see them again. Silly us. Like the stars and their stylists would ever stop serving us looks. All we know is this: we’re happy to see it again but we’re still going to be the judgmental bitches we always were. Let’s get to it, shall we? And by that we mean being judgmental bitches.
Christina Aguilera in Maisie Wilen
Well it’s certainly… on brand for her. We’ll give her that. Why is she wearing Lucite heels on the side of a highway with a horse? The world may never know.
Princess Vaguely Appropriative strikes again. Again, it’s not high fashion but it’s extremely her thing. Pop stars are way more about branding than elegance.
Henry Golding in Dior Homme
And speaking of elegance, this will do nicely. Is he giving a weather report? Is there a hurricane coming or something?
Jasmine Cephas Jones in Christopher John Rogers
The more we look at this, the more we love it. The neon coloring plays well with the classic print and period-costume shape. There’s a great tension between the old and the new. And those colors look amazing on her.
John Legend in Dior Homme
We could’ve done without the seatbelt feature, but this is a pretty great look.
Katy Perry in Mélique Street
Speaking of pop stars and branding – she doesn’t have a recognizable look anymore and we don’t think it’s helping her. She’s stuck in this Rita Ora mode where every outfit is so wildly different from the last one that it gets harder and harder to remember what she even looks like.
Kelly Clarkson in Dolce & Gabbana
Great color and shape for her, but the neckline’s too broad and there are just too many necklaces.
Lil Nas X in Selam Fessahaye
This is the height of chic restraint coming from him. We actually love the stripped-back feel of it. It’s still very much him, but it feels a little more sophisticated. Love the boots.
Megan Thee Stallion in Bryan Hearns
Well. It’s a dress. Half of one, anyway.
Mindy Kaling in Silvia Tcherassi
Really cute look, although we’re not in love with the sleeve design.
Nick Jonas in KidSuper
This is better than anything he wore when he was hosting the BBMAs this week.
This is the second time this month we’ve featured Paris Hilton wearing something that’s actually pretty nice and well put-together. If we sound surprised it’s because we’re surprised.
Tracee Ellis Ross in Bottega Veneta
The important thing is that she’s having fun. Love the shoes and the hair, but that dress looks like a bathmat.
Usher in Louis Vuitton
The button placement is making us angry.
Uzo Aduba in Missoni
Great print, color story and shape for her.
