This is sort of like a red carpet and she’s definitely an Oscar nominee on a campaign, so we feel pretty okay throwing an Instagram serve up for a vote. Not that we dislike this look or that we’re torn over it. It’s actually pretty cute to our eyes:

She’s dialed way back on the princess vibe and ramped up the ingenue one. This feels like the right approach, both for a rising star and for the Santa Barbara Film Festival specifically. Personally, we’re loving the whole origami/graph paper feel to it. The hardness of the edges and the starkness of the print give the ballerina silhouette a little bit of oomph to it. And those sandals are absolutely gorgeous – so much so that we kinda wish they’d been saved for something a little more formal and sparkly. Even so, its a great look and if there’s any crit, we think the hair could use some zhuzhing. But we’re not making the final call on this one; you are. Let’s hear it.
