Miss Wunmi won our hearts with her scene-stealing performance as Ruby on Lovecraft Country, but she absolutely blew us away in the modern horror soon-to-be-classic His House. You can catch the film on Netflix and you absolutely should, because she just snagged a best actress win from the British Independent Film Awards.

Of course, we’re shallow types ’round these parts, so we’re just as excited about her drop-dead stunning Valentino as we are for her win:
