Heidi Klum in Moschino on “Germany’s Next Top Model”

Miss Heidi fails to go for the full Marie Antoinette effect and thus does a drag queen snatch her crown. We promise this will all make sense shortly. You see, Heidi Klum, in her hostessing duties for Germany’s Next Top Model, wore the following Moschino ensemble, which would seem at first glance to be a perfect fit for her:

And sure, she looks cute in it. Moschino’s exactly the right brand for her and if there’s a gal out in the world who can work a pair of thigh-high toile boots, it would have to be her. But we would be remiss if we didn’t point out that RuPaul’s Drag Race star Gigi Goode wore this same outfit last year and while we hate to lapse into “Who wore it best?” style commentary cliches, we have to admit…

Gigi nailed it. Sorry, Heidster. Should’a gone with the panniers, girl.
