Miss Zendaya stepped out (so to speak) in vintage Versace to show up for sustainability at the all-digital (by necessity) 2020 Green Carpet Fashion Awards. We thank her for these fashion blessings.

Admittedly, this isn’t giving us as much to go on as your typical red carpet pose session might, but that’s all the more reason to applaud the relative simplicity of the look. She and her stylist Law Roach are savvy enough to have realized that this vintage gown from 1996 (the year she was born) will look different on her than it did walking the runway nearly a quarter century ago on a white model. The sheer effect is played down considerably, giving the dress a slightly more classic, less dated feel to it. Love the strap details and headband. She looks great; not overdone or underdone for the moment. Just right for it.
