Do we have a history of saying that we loathe paperbag waists and bows on grown women? Yes, but even we wouldn’t expect anyone to remember that. Even so, much as we’re against certain details, we actually love this look. The color and texture of the suit really make it. This suit would’ve probably looked a right mess had she traveled somewhere wearing it. We wish the top and the shoes were a bit more interesting, but then again, she’s posing in her backyard. The fact that she’s coordinated, in heels, and offering up a photogenic-as-hell look is more than enough. Her makeup looks great.

Switching it up for pure whimsy. We like that she’s taking the relative ease of not having to leave the house and turning it into slightly impractical looks. This sort of super-girly whimsy isn’t really the best style for her. She’s much better in minimalist and boldly stark sorts of looks. But it’s a fine little side journey into frippery. The shoes are silly, but cute.
