Darlings, we never had a doubt that some day, the weeds and cobwebs would be cleared away and celebrities would return to werqing free fashion to promote their projects, come hell or high water. Like nature, celebrities will always find a way. As we said in a recent piece in Elle, “Celebrities like to pretend that promotional work like red carpets and public appearances are a pain, but most stars don’t become stars without a healthy need for attention now and then. There was no way they were all going to stay home in their sweats and yoga pants for most of the year.” Not all celebrities, of course. Plenty of them hate red carpets and don’t like doing promo work, but there are more than enough known fashionistas and dandies who either enjoy playing dressup or know its worth as a promotional tool, Anne Hathaway ranking somewhat high among them.

Miss Woman strapped a fluffy red Ralph & Russo gown, made her way up to the rooftop of Harrod’s and posed like her life depended on it because that’s what a star does when she’s got something to promote. In her case, it’s the new version of The Witches, dropping today on HBO Max. As she put it when she posted these shots on her Instagram, “No premiere, no problem.” Gotta love that. She looks great, of course.
