WERQ From Home: Evan Rachel Wood Promotes “Kajillionaire” in Cinq à Sept and AMI Paris

We are happy to report that like nature itself, celebrities always find a way. That “way” being the neverending job of promoting oneself and one’s latest project. In the absence of red carpets, photo calls and talk shows (or at least, in a world in which they aren’t nearly as ubiquitous or easy to navigate as they were in the Before Times), celebrities and their stylists are now routinely doing what we’ve been begging for since March: getting dressed up and posing at home. This is America, dammit! Anyone can stage their one-person photo call if they want to! It helps if they have a stylist, hair and makeup team and access to high-end fashion, of course.

Evan Rachel? That’s your cue, dear.

Ca-HUTE! This is all we got in terms of pictures, so she might be standing their in cut-offs for all we know, but that jacket is a stunner and she looks great in it. For the completists, you can imagine the whole look on her by taking in the look book shot:

We don’t love the bottom half as much, but we can definitely see her wearing it.

Next up, a little backyard glam:

Works for us. It’s not the most original style in the world and she didn’t do anything particularly unexpected with it, but for backyard promo work, who are we to say it’s not enough? To be fair, we’ll never completely love the idea of a sequined turtleneck. Also, since we’re being bitches, we think a metallic shoe in bronze or gold would’ve made this look pop.
