Celebrities at fashion events wearing really expensive clothing! What a concept! Someone should do something about making this a regular sort of thing!
And there it is. The ultimate 2020 fit: loose, utilitarian and gray, with a waist that ties. Putting aside our joy at seeing a beautiful man in expensive clothing (Hello, Michael B. We missed you.), we don’t think we can sign off on this ensemble. Not completely. The jacket, pants and shoes are all covetable, but we don’t think we’d have worn any two of them at the same time. And we don’t care what kind of year it is, we have not yet opted to tie a rope around out pants. We still have standards, dammit.
We’d happily own any of these, even the braided belt (in a less obnoxious length), but for us, that’s just too much gray in one look. We don’t necessarily need a pop of color here, but black shoes and a black shirt would probably solve a lot of our issues with the look. Gorgeous pieces, though.
