Closing out the Dem Convention, the former Veep star introduced the former Veep in a dress that checked off all her style preference boxes.

Unforch, we can’t really say we loved how it looked onscreen. It really isn’t the kind of design that calls for a big black belt cutting it in half like that. Styling choice aside, we just don’t think it worked for the setting. The zipper and the fussy (but interesting) design of the skirt distracted quite a bit. And it was just a little too snug on her. To us, this feels like a good-on-paper dress that should’ve been rejected after the first test shot was taken. Love her, thought she did a great job, but the dress wasn’t right for her or the occasion, we’re sorry to say.
