Le Bar at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, France

Ooh la-la! The word du jour is “LUXURY,” darlings! Or “LE LUXE,” if you want to be more appropriate, given the setting. Today is TUESDAY. Really! And we are all just doing our best, aren’t we? Since that’s all anyone can do, it’s best never to stress about it. Have a drink instead. We, for our parts, muddled through a crappy day yesterday, only to have it capped off with a couple of triumphs we didn’t see coming. Sorry to be mysterious, but to be blunt, the details aren’t interesting. The point is that we wasted a lot of energy worrying over things that all turned out fine in the end. Don’t be like us.

Remember: Deep breaths. Scheduled distractions. A little bit of stretching and limbering up now and then. And don’t forget to turn your face toward the sun several times a day. Even if you can’t see it. You need to know that it’s there.

And NOW, our Menu of Daily Distractions! Peruse! Enjoy!
