It is MONDAY. In case you needed reminding.

We are about to celebrate our two monthiversary of not being in a room with other human beings. Like so many, we’re antsy and want this thing to end, but since it’s not going to any time soon, we’d rather say “YAY us!” to the fact that we are doing okay, not at each other’s throats, and managing to be productive and forward-facing. Privilege helps us be so, and we would never not acknowledge that, but we’re proud of ourselves for facing this time and keeping our feet underneath us. You should be too. Yay us – all of us. And spare a thought, a dime, or a good deed for all of those people who are not thriving right now. There are a lot and their number is growing. Pat yourself on the back today and then go see if someone else needs you to do the same thing for them.

Alrighty, then! Affirmations aside, let’s get distracted!
