More talk show fashion, kittens! It’s the new red carpet!
We adore almost everything about Annette Bening’s look, which is one of those perfect ways to demonstrate how mature style doesn’t have to be cliched or stale or expected. LOVE the jewelry, which really bumps the look up. Our only quibble is with the boot choice. Black would have made so much more sense. And while her frames are fine, we think this was a missed opportunity to sport a pair that really set off the outfit. Still, she looks great, minor quibbles aside.
Miss Elle is giving us all exactly what we asked for the other day. She’s taking the red carpet on to the talk show sets. It’s a time for stepping things up a bit and maybe fulfilling a contractual obligation here or there. This may be a bit too sparkly for a talk show set, but the pale neutral color, while not normally our fave for her, helps keep it a little toned down. LOVE the shoes.
